Thoughts from Crow Cottage (My Main Blog.)
crowbelle's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Good Rap A Good Rap... The news concerning England, and now specifically, my beloved Yorkshire, has been so sad and troublesome lately. I hope everyone who has never been there doesn't get the wrong idea about that wonderful land. I found a web site about some people who live in East Yorkshire, in Hull, who were unhappy to hear that some trees needed to be removed from the streets, and they did something that is truly amazing. http://homepages.tesco.net/~chrysbavey/angelframe.html
Click the Mermaid for more transformed trees in Hull. Click on the Cat Totem Pole for more on the artist. There are so many wonderful artists living and working all over Britain. We have run across them many, many times on our journeys there, and are always amazed at the talent on that small island. We have wood carved bowls, and fruits from a woodcarver in Durham, and we have quite a few pieces of hand-made pottery dinnerware from the Aysgarth Pottery shop in the Dales. We always find some treasures, hand made in Yorkshire, to fill up the nooks and crannies of our luggage. For some really fabulous photographs of our favourite place on earth, check out the albums here at Webshots done by "casper901". He's one talented photographer!
