crowbelle's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Short Rant A (VERY) SHORT RANT Watching the talking heads this morning, which turns my stomach normally, I was struck by the fact that the candidates for Vice President are "holed up practicing" for their debate coming up this week. Dick Cheney has his wife, his daughters, and his entire staff up in Wisconsin at his home, all huddled around, trying to get him to say the "right" words when debating John Edwards. Practicing? Does a man like that need to practice what to say so we will vote for them? Haven't they already been putting INTO practice the right things for the people of this country? A rhetorical question...because the answer, of course is NO! They have to be fed lines, like grammar schoolchildren, so they will "win" the debate, and win the election...so they may continue another four years of screwing us royally! Which is just what this mob in Washington has been up to - and which, if they are allowed to keep their jobs there, may just put us all over the edge into oblivion as a country! Enough. It wasn't short enough, I know, but I'm just steamed these days when I think of that mob down there in D.C. (No) Cheers! (Except for the Boston Red Sox)
