crowbelle's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet? One day away. By this time tomorrow, all the hoopla and anticipation will be a thing of the past, for another year. It just wears me out, and that is even with a huge downsizing of our holiday celebrations lately. Tonight will be our family get-together. Tomorrow will be devoted only to the four of us here at Crow Cottage. Jazzy needs us here, so we will stay home with her, and help her when needed. I had planned on making a nice big lasagna for dinner for the 2 humans of us tomorrow, but today while listening to the radio, they were talking about the old time traditional English Christmas dinner of pork pie... and that sounded so good that I got the necessary ingredients at the store today and that's on the menu for tomorrow now. Pork vegetable pie. With fresh spinach on the side, and strawberry/rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream. Simple fare, but more than enough. We are having lobster tonight with Paul's folks. It's only about the 5th time this year we've indulged in that delicacy, and needless to say we are looking forward to it. Happy Christmas Everyone.
